We are seeking a Purchasing Supervisor who will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the Purchasing Department, ensuring that goods and services are delivered on time with the option TCO. There will be the opportunity to grow and shape a team and be critical for developing the Purchasing Department, planning for future growth, including creating purchasing policies, training, and team building.

Purchasing Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Purchasing department, assigning responsibilities and managing work loads
• Performs Buyer functions.
• Responsible for managing supplier relationships
• Identify cost savings opportunities
• Train Purchasing team in purchasing skills, policies and procedures
• Lead developmental of KPI's, supplier scorecards and supplier business reviews
• Work with internal customers to communicate and resolve quality, lead time, delivery, invoicing or other issues
• Lead and manage Purchasing's responsibilities with RMA process, MRP/ECOs/ECRs, supplier discrepancies, compliance and certifications and other processes
• Demonstrate an SME level of proficiency with the ERP and other systems and be a primary SME resource for Supply Chain other users
• Travel to supplier locations as necessary
• Assists in conducting research and analysis, including generating and presenting reports
• Develop and ensure compliance with Purchasing policies, procedures and work instructions
• Lead the preparation of Purchasing's cost and delivery information for sales requests
• Support other Supply Chain personnel as needed
• Understand component parts and their interconnections
• Perform other duties as assigned

Purchasing Supervisor Qualifications:

• MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or related field (preferred) or Associate's degree or minimum of 6-years' experience in a sourcing and/or purchasing role (required) in an ISO certified manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Industry certification such as Institute for Supply Management CPSM (preferred) or Association for Supply Chain Management CSCP
• Expert in utilizing ERP Systems (Global Shop – preferred)
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members and suppliers
• Negotiation and intermediate contracting skills
• Strong PC and MS Office suite skills with advanced working knowledge of Excel, familiarity with Power BI
• Employment with Air Squared is contingent on passing a statewide background check, drug screening (for substances illegal in the state of Colorado), and employment verification through E-Verify.
