Job Description:

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with an established Michigan firm seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Law Attorney to join their growing practice in Detroit, Michigan.



Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of experience in employment litigation and counseling within a law firm setting. Given the firm's high volume of work, candidates must be adept at managing their own caseload and handling client interactions from the start.


Key qualifications include:

• Handling employment-related litigation matters, including responses to charges of discrimination filed with the EEOC and/or local agencies, discovery, and drafting dispositive motions


• Assisting with a wide range of employment issues, including drafting employee handbooks and related documents


• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance


• Drafting employment agreements, policies, and handbooks


• Managing all stages of litigation, including discovery, substantive motions, depositions, and in-court appearances
