Job Description:
Mano Lani, LLC has an opening for a Field Install Technician position to join our rapidly growing team in Norfolk, VA. The scope of services for Field Installation Technician includes general labor and facilities support and will be performed on-site at the government client's facility. The ideal candidate shall perform work during standard local working hours (0530 - 1700 Est) unless specifically requested and agreed upon 5 days in advance, at a minimum.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
- Facilities preventative maintenance, repair, renovation, removal, and disposal
- Tools, inventory management & job tracking
- Waterfront cleanup & disposal of material
- Furniture planning, repair, installation, relocation, removal, & disposal
- Installation of Information Technology (IT) services including CAT-5/CAT-6 cable & IT cabinets
- Hurricane and inclement weather preparation and facilities tie-downs
- Vegetation control & removal
- Minor facilities maintenance work including carpentry, painting, roofing, and welding.
- General electrical repairs
Compensation Maximum: 17.50

Education / Experience / Certifications:
- Personnel performing on this effort shall be U.S. citizens
- Personnel are required to successfully obtain and maintain background investigations and clearances (to include periodic reinvestigations)
- 2+ years of experience performing general labor functions
- Electrician experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in
a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting to 40 lbs.
