Job Summary

As an Human Resources Intern, you will play a crucial role in the administration of Human Resources Department. This role will require attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and organizational skills, Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the coordination of company events and gain exposure to different facets of HR management.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Help organize and coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communications skills: verbal, written, listening
  • Ability to build relationships with & service the customer (internal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently individually, as well as in a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • Ability to work under pressure

Work Environment

  • Office setting as well as manufacturing facility
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Education

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
