Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Work in Progress (WIP) accounting and cost inventory management, specifically within the construction industry. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain WIP schedules for multiple construction projects


• Track and analyze project costs, materials, and labor


• Oversee cost inventory to ensure accurate project reporting


• Prepare financial statements and reports tailored to construction operations


• Reconcile accounts in QuickBooks Online and ensure accuracy in project budgeting


• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial alignment with project goals


• Perform month-end and year-end close processes


• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• 3+ years of experience in construction accounting with a focus on WIP and cost inventory
  


• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  


• Strong understanding of construction industry accounting principles


• Excellent analytical and organizational skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $75k - $80k annually
