Job Description:

Company Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our accounting team and help maintain our financial integrity.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in cash flow management.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

  • Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management.

  • Monitor internal controls and suggest improvements as needed.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • CPA certification (preferred but not required).

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or related roles.

  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite.

  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
