Job Description:

Heavy Duty Truck & Automotive Mechanic Trainee

Perform routine manual tasks in the servicing and maintenance of a wide variety of heavy duty truck, automotive, gasoline and diesel-powered equipment

Requirements:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
• ORIGINAL diploma or official SEALED transcripts REQUIRED at time of application.
• Two (2) years of experience in THE GENERAL MAINTENANCE servicing of heavy duty trucks, equipment or     
• Must possess a high level of mechanical ability.
• Possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Michigan.
• Must meet city standards for insurability.
• Must obtain a valid commercial driver’s license to operate a commercial motor vehicle in the State of Michigan,   with the proper endorsements, within one (1) year of   

Pay rate:  $20.17/hour - $33.83/hour (after 5 years)
