Job Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse
Duties & Responsibilities: Psychiatric Registered Nurse sought for 13 week assignment, with the potential to extend. schedule would be 3x12 mid shifts, from 11a-11p, with weekends as assigned. Hospital is an Inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages. There are 50 beds, 20 female and 30 male. The nurse to patient ratio is 1 nurse on night shift. For the 7p-11p of the shift there are 2-3 BHS (techs) on shift. From 11p-7a there is 1 tech on shift. Patients are voluntary and there are no restraints. Admin and Doctor are on call at all times, and there is no on-site security. Visiting hours are Sundays 1-4p. Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable.
Minimum Requirements:
- IA or Compact RN license
- BLS
- CPI
- 6-12 months of prior experience
- Must be able to do CIWA/COWs, UAs, and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries.
