Blue Flame is part of the nation's largest plumbing, heating and air conditioning service provider in the country and we are looking for a Warehouse, Fleet & Safety Manager to join our team in Mountlake Terrace, WA. As a Warehouse Manager you are in charge of the planning and management of the warehouse operation to ensure the proper flow of parts and materials from vendor to warehouse to service locations.

Responsibilities
Manages and develops the warehouse staff, which includes hiring, terminating and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling and training employees, evaluating performance and directing work assignments to ensure effective departmental operation.
Oversees facility and equipment maintenance and maintains inventory systems, ensuring that assets are protected and controlled
Ensures timely and accurate receiving, staging, ticketing, placement, planning, distribution, delivery and replenishment of parts and materials
Utilizes the computer system to maintain accurate inventory levels and costs. Prepares and controls all purchase orders and invoices, shipping receipts, etc., on job-related equipment, material, parts, supplies and tools
Reviews and approves completed vehicle logs to ensure maintenance needs of service vehicles are met
Provides for the safety and security of the workplace
Implements and monitors safety and environmental programs of the company
Monitors and investigates conditions and loss experience to identify risks or exposure to the company and/or its employees and third parties
Identifies legal risks and monitors the accuracy in OSHA reporting for the service center
Reviews employee complaints and suggestions related to safety for input on conditions at the service center level.
Provides training to employees on safety policies, hazard identification, elimination and avoidance
Works with the division safety manager to implement service center safety policies.
Manages and oversees the process of filing insurance claims and conducting accident investigations to ensure that reporting requirements are met and claims are handled efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in parts/warehousing. Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance and/or HVAC a plus
Strong supervisory, computer and mathematical skills are required
Strong communication and organizational skills are also
Valid driver's license
