A Day in the Life
Configuration Assurance Admin Position, is key and critical to the MES system, with a high experience in manufacturing process, within the manufacturing testing team, overseeing and driving the testing activities related to the implementation of the Manufacturing Execution System. This role is ensuring the correct configuration of MES configuration into the manufacturing process, guaranteeing optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.

Role Objective:
To lead and execute the testing efforts for the MES, ensuring its successful implementation across all manufacturing processes and products.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Processes change orders, ranging from simple-to-complex, for the creation and revision of product, process, and system designs.

  • Reviews and analyzes change data provided by all functions and facilitates coordination of changes with applicable stakeholders, including engineering, quality, manufacturing, operations and regulatory.

  • Manages the change order process and prepares for change approvals by stakeholders.

  • Prepares change management status reports.

  • Ensures customer requirements are implemented while maintaining compliance to applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.

  • Functional Skills: Change Control, Document Management, Compliance, Product Lifecycle Management, Electronic Document Management Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.

  • Additional Skills: Problem Solving, Detail Oriented, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Customer Service, Process Improvement, Communication.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Prerequisite Preparation: Prepare the testing environment and necessary resources prior to the initiation of testing activities, ensuring all prerequisites are in place for effective testing.


  • Training Tester and Test Validation Process: Provide training and guidance to testing team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct thorough testing. Validate the testing process to ensure it aligns with manufacturing execution system.


  • Lead Testing Activities: Take charge of leading testing activities for the MES, including test planning, execution, and reporting. Provide feedback to the test scenarios, develop test cases, and oversee test execution to validate system functionality and performance.


  • Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify and escalate any issues or discrepancies encountered during testing, working closely with the project team to resolve them in a timely manner.


  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting end users in executing test cases, capturing feedback, and addressing any concerns or questions raised during the testing process.


  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of test results, issues or defects identified, and resolutions implemented during the testing process. Generate comprehensive reports and documentation to communicate testing outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Requires 2+ years of experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent or Advanced Degree with 0 years of experience. Can be a technician with a high experience in manufacturing process

Nice to Have


  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, data flows, and critical data collection points within a production environment.

  • Familiarity with production data management and Device History Record (DHR) systems.

  • Proficient in computer literacy with a strong inclination towards digitalization initiatives.

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
