The project manager will work with the client services (account executive) team to ensure that deliverables make it to the client on time and within budget. While this is primarily an internal role, it may require client contact and correspondence. An effective problem-solver on a day-to-day basis, the project manager must be adept at anticipating problems and recognizing opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with account executives from onset of project to assist in the development of project plans, including estimates and timelines
Input estimates into the Advantage PM system and track budgets closely, pulling and analyzing QvA (Quote vs. Actual) and connecting with the AE on next steps and solutions
Work with the resourcing manager to determine appropriate resources and timing
Create and manage detailed schedules throughout the life of projects
Initiate/attend internal cross-functional project planning and status meetings
Highly involved in the Advantage system: set up the project schedules and manage completion of tasks (to ensure projects are moving forward in a timely manner)
Deliver ongoing project communication, including project kickoff meetings, frequent internal check-ins, and client communication as needed
Monitor and report on project progress and managing roadblocks
Motivate people involved in the project to complete tasks on time and within budget
Requirements • BA degree in marketing or related field • 2+ years of experience in similar roles: preferably agency experience • Experience with marketing, ecommerce and retail preferred • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
