Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Multi-Plant Business Finance Controller in Pharr, TX.

Job Description: Drive the agenda of the business unit, having cross functional interaction with operations and finance functions. Provide reliable and timely analysis of financial results, budget and forecast in order to assist Plant Managers and stakeholders, helping to evaluate the impact of major decisions. Handle and partner business case elaboration to support capital investments to drive productivity and reduce cost. Be a proactive financial strategic partner for the leadership team. Challenge with a business attitude while providing insightful financial analysis. Lead budget and quarterly forecast, latest thinking estimation to align priorities and actively participate to achieve annual performance targets. Lead and coordinate the compliance and internal Control. Provide Plant Long Term Industrial Plan (LTIP) management and support. Position supervises two direct reports in the positions of Financial Specialist and Treasurer/Controller. Position requires 50% domestic and international travel for providing extensive support to plants in Mexico and Massachusetts. Position eligible for remote work up to 2 days per week.

Requirements: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience in manufacturing industry finance controlling or closely related finance occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: As plant controller, managing month end close, reporting, budget, forecast, planning and analysis, internal control; Financial Reporting, including preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders; Financial Planning and Analysis, including leading the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans, providing insights to support decision-making, and utilizing PRISM tool to analyze year over year impacts and identify opportunities for negotiation; Managing Costs, including optimizing cost structures, analyzing variances, and driving efficiency in financial operations; Reviewing Compliance and Auditing, including ensuring adherence to financial regulations, managing internal and external audits, and implementing best practices in financial controls; Managing risks by identifying and assessing financial risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements; Leading and developing a team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement; and Using financial software and advanced Excel capabilities for financial analysis, including Excel, OTTO, Essbase, and SQL.
