Job Description:
Russell Tobin is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to support its client's Finance Ops team. This is a temporary backfill role designed to assist with administrative tasks that currently divert time from Finance Analysts and Senior Analysts. The position involves repetitive tasks with a focus on understanding the underlying business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Update client contact information in SAP for invoices and Dunning letters.
Handle client-requested reports such as payment history and invoice documents.
Educate clients on EyeManage tools.
Provide bank validation letters, FSL originator IDs, etc.
Conduct follow-ups with clients or Account Managers regarding payments made to incorrect bank accounts.
Complete repetitive reporting tasks with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Submit new hire and termination system access requests.
Upload invoices to third-party portals or download payment remittance and distribute to the appropriate contacts.
Required Skills:
Moderate Excel proficiency.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills.
High attention to detail.
Curiosity and a drive to understand the "why" behind tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Prior experience working in a large organization.
