RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a commercial and industrial HVAC company located in Warick, RI area is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The client offers a very good benefits package and free parking. Senior Management engages in mentoring their employees to grow with the company. This position will be 100% on-site.

Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, including preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


• CPA


• 2+ years of accounting experience with concentration on Construction industry experience


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Software knowledge - Sage Intaact and BuildOps (preferred, not required)


• Experience with prevailing wage (union) payroll a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
