*Job Summary:*
As a Remote Accounting Assistant, you'll support our accounting department with various tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. If you have basic accounting knowledge, are proficient in accounting software, and enjoy working independently, we want to hear from you!
*Responsibilities:*
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain general ledger and perform reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Prepare invoices and process payments
- Perform other accounting tasks as needed
*Requirements:*
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
