The Production Manager schedules, effectively delegates, and manages hourly employees to efficiently meet production requirements for multiple operations in a fast-paced work environment.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage staff to ensure they are productive and working towards client satisfaction
  • Making quick decisions and changing plans/schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Understanding and involvement in 5S, Lean, Kaizen and other continuous improvement projects
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and employee motivational skills
  • Responsible for resolving HR issues, employee reviews and employee record keeping
  • Have verbal and written communications with all levels of the organization
  • Need ability to recognize opportunities and improve processes to increase efficiency
  • Effective use of ERP for systems and reporting
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Understanding of leader standard work
  • Set, measure and analyze department KPIs
  • Identify department inefficiencies and create action plans to address
  • Effectively lead team meetings

Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in management or a related field
  • 3+ years of manufacturing/production experience preferred
  • Previous supervisor experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Able to work in a team environment and fulfilling objectives with minimum direct supervision
