Job Summary:

This Marketing & Research Representative will partner with Business Development, Operations, MPG and TCG Marketing to develop, facilitate and maintain critical marketing material. The position will design and manage quantitative and qualitative, primary, and secondary research studies, as well as manage various data analysis projects to deliver new and existing market insights that support the company’s strategic objectives.

This role is integral to the long-term growth and success of the company and requires a driven and passionate candidate who is energized to work with a strong team.

Education:

  • BS or BA degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or equivalent education and/or experience

Experience:

  • Ten (10) years’ experience working as a Marketing Manager, Coordinator, Specialist, or similar role producing marketing services for public and private sector clients
  • Two (2) years as a marketing/research manager preferred
  • Architectural, Engineering, or Construction industry experience required

  • Must have the desire to grow with the business as this position is considered incredibly strategic to the success of the company
  • Proficient with a wide range of software including Adobe Creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent formatting, writing/editing, graphic layout and production, and efficient/timely production of materials
  • Ability to display proposal information to highlight points of differentiation while in compliance with RFP requirements
  • Demonstrated graphic design skills

Responsibilities:

Marketing Communications

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal clients, TCG Shared Marketing Services, and industry influencers.
  • Evaluate marketing plan with Exec. VP of Business Development, create an implementation plan, implement, measure plan against KPIs, refine and adjust to meet client and audience needs.
  • Coordinate outside services including Media and Tradeshow Consultants and TCG Shared Services.
  • Coordinate with business development leaders to prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and pitches to prospective clients.
  • Lead the tradeshow booth evaluation and updates. Consider tradeshow schedule, markets, floor space, designs, and logistics, and provide a professional design in an efficiently transportable format.
  • Coordinate and support marketing events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Under the guidance of the TCG Marketing team, oversee the company’s website and social media platforms, including video platforms, ensuring content is current and engaging. Examples include YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Under the guidance of the TCG Marketing team, develop and maintain marketing files and databases, including brochures, qualification packages, project sheets, marketing collateral, staff resumes, abstracts, white papers, and project photography and video.
  • Manage, create, and maintain web and social media content and platforms, establishing a strong brand voice and strategy.
  • Establish and maintain other client outreach and touches such as emails campaigns.
  • Stay informed on current marketing and advertising trends that will benefit the business and recommend continuing education programs to continually improve his/her skill.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and enhancement.
  • Create an earned and bought media program complete with an editorial schedule. Work with the Business Development team to develop appropriate advertising for each publication, and work with internal SMEs to write articles to be included in publications to meet the selected editorial calendar.

Market Research

  • Work with the Exec. VP of Business Development to research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and potential client needs to develop targeted business development strategies in existing and new markets.
  • Conduct research and analysis projects for organic growth and provide research support and analytics for mergers and acquisitions.
  • When called upon, conduct market analysis, and evaluate industry trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning strategies.
  • Utilize data to define target markets, build demand generation and provide lead creation.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to inform strategic decision-making and enhance the company's competitive positioning within targeted markets

  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands Working Environment:

  • General office environment with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Regularly repeats motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Occasionally moves objects up to 20 pounds
  • May require occasional travel

Salary Range:

  • $80K - 110K per year
  • Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications
