We're presenting an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Digital Merchandiser, based in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you'll collaborate with teams like Merchandising, Marketing, IT, Customer Support, Sales, and Supply Chain to boost site performance through improved product displays, onsite search, and upsell/cross-sell features. The Sr. Digital Merchandiser will play a key role in shaping and executing strategies to significantly enhance NBF’s web experience.
Here’s a General Overview of What You’ll be Doing:
Responsible for accuracy of all web products & landing pages, including set up, pricing, taxonomy, upsell/cross-sell, onsite search, site navigation
Accountable for onsite customer experience & applicable results
Manage & optimize product styleguide(s), product titles, meta data, SEO & keywords
Proactively manage content within the content management system (CMS) & PIM & take ownership for quality & accuracy
Partner with Creative, Content, Digital Marketing team(s) to execute promotional calendar timelines & support key marketing initiatives & Merchandising product launches
Collaborate with merchandising team to identify & recommend ways to improve the overall customer experience & conversion rate for site navigation, product positioning, imagery & content, etc.
Work closely with Supply Chain to verify product availability & ensure accurate inventory is represented for all SKU’s
Remain up to date with the market & fully understand trends, gaps & opportunities in order to optimize SKU’s, increase site monetization & improve conversion
Review competitor site merchandising, promotional execution & tactics, UX, product representation & taxonomy to ensure NBF offers the best onsite customer experience
Operational, strategic mindset to build process & create efficiencies within the team
Drives business results through analyzing daily / weekly / seasonal results & site / customer metrics
A/B Test site updates / changes & report on pre- / post-results
What We’re Looking For:
7+ years of experience in a similar online merchandising / eCommerce Manager role
Exceptional organizational & time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload & achieve deadlines
Confident, with the ability to work cross-functionally
Strong inter-personal skills with an ability to influence
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Ability to work independently; demonstrating resourcefulness & outstanding attention to detail
Experience managing CMS & PIM systems
Strong computer skills & ability to quickly learn how to navigate various software programs
Managed a large product catalog for onsite merchandising of digital products, websites & mobile
Experience using a CMS / PIM
Understanding of SEO principles & content optimization
Experience using analytics tools, such as google analytics, search platforms, etc.
Minimum in-office time per week: 3 days (Tu, W, Th)
