What Will Your Job Look Like?
The Contract Compliance Specialist will develop audit tools, reports and project plans to help the MTM- LA Access contract achieve and maintain ongoing contractual compliance. The Contract Compliance Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring MTM’s overall contractual compliance, while working with numerous departments and teams in an effort to develop and implement long-term compliance solutions.
The Contract Compliance Specialist will provide quality assurance, review applications to determine eligibility for paratransit, complete physical and cognitive assessments as part of the eligibility process for the Commerce office as well as the Antelope Valley and the Santa Clarita locations. This position has the ability to use their own judgment to determine which assessments are needed for each applicant and will also act as a liaison to external auditors as they review operational processes, policies and procedures, and contract management functions.

What you’ll do:
Maintain an understanding of all contract documents and have a working knowledge of all Client protocols
Gain an in-depth understanding of how contract verbiage and requirements should be applied to the operational processes of the contract
Document, review, investigate, and provide follow up for all complaints and complaint issues reported in the Rider360 software Working Queue; responding within 48 hours
Respond to both the Client and the location Leadership’s inquiries sent via email, or fax, within the specified timeframe
Create contractual compliance audit tools and matrixes and develop project plans and tracking mechanisms to correct any identified deficiencies
Utilize large datasets to identify potential compliance deficiencies and report to Leadership
Document and report all audit findings
Communicate and/or present audit findings to various stakeholders
Provide recommendations for systematic internal controls and process changes to ensure ongoing compliance for corrected deficiencies
Complete follow-up audits to ensure deficiencies have been corrected
Input information into Salesforce and Rider360 software
Conduct interviews while providing high level of customer service in all interactions
Perform mark and tethering assessments as needed
Assist with other internal projects and tasks, as needed
Conduct functional assessments with applicants, as needed, including Physical Functional Assessment, FACTS and MMSE
Occasional travel to Client meetings or MTM field locations may be required
What you’ll need:
Experience, Education & Certifications:
Highschool Diploma or GED
Willing to accept relevant experience and specialized certifications in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree depending upon contract specifications (Certifications can include: COTA, OT, PT)
Previous experience in contract compliance and/or operational auditing role
Experience and knowledge with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations
Skills:
Basic to intermediate understanding of database/system concepts and/or design
Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
Ability to complete basic to intermediate data analysis
Detail-oriented, thorough, and a systematic/methodical approach to projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational and/or Physical Therapy, Recreation Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, Human Services or a related field, preferred

Minium Salary: $66,560/annually
