Job Title: Pathologist Assistant-Lab Tech



Duties & Responsibilities: Performs gross examination of surgical specimens. Provide rotational coverage to the autopsy department for the prosection of autopsy cases. Provides assistance in the education and training of residents with guidance from the Pathologists Assistant Education Lead.



Minimum Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Pathologists Assistant


• 2 years Pathology Assistant Experience


• NYS license (or ability to obtain before starting position)


• High level of problem-solving ability


• Strong ability to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources to find solutions to very complex problems.


• May be required to lift up to 50lbs
