Job Description:

Location: Longview, TX

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Product Manager to join their team. This on-site position focuses on overseeing the development of new maritime product models. This role is essential for driving the company's product innovation and maintaining its leadership in the industry.


This job will have the following responsibilities

• 
  


• Act as the subject matter expert for specific maritime product models.


• Lead the development and enhancement of various marine product lines.


• Focus on improving specific marine product types that are significant to the company's portfolio.


• Analyze performance and production data for continuous product improvements.


• Provide support for dealers and customers regarding product setup and performance.


• Manage product costs and key performance indicators (KPIs) through design improvements.


• Coordinate project schedules by managing tasks across design and key stakeholder teams.


• Assist in the design process to support the project team.


• Ensure the accuracy of bills of materials (BOMs) and standard work instructions (SWIs).


• Validate the structural integrity of all products.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards.


• Serve as a technical liaison for the company when needed.


• Provide product information and feature guidance to marketing and sales teams.


• Direct the product roadmap and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 
  


• Engineering degree or extensive experience in maritime or marine product development.


• Proven experience in managing the development of complex marine products.


• Ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish.


• Experience in managing product costs and KPIs through effective design.


• Excellent communication skills to foster cooperation and acceptance of changes.


• In-depth knowledge of the relevant market.


• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.


• Availability for on-site work.
