Job Description:

The role consists of a variety of responsibilities and the mechanic will:

• Fit, align, adjust, and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and operating requirements.

• Test assembled parts.

• Repair units or parts that have failed to meet specified functional performance.

• Disassemble and inspects heavy sub-assemblies.

• Load and unload material from trucks to storage area and move with workspace using forklift, handcart, or another device.

• May exercise own technical judgment.

• Operate drill press, lathe, and milling machines.

• Inspect components using micrometers and complete inspection form.

• Disassemble heavy equipment, pneumatic impact tools, torches, and hydraulic tools.

• Secure rigging and operate overhead cranes.

• Assemble heavy components by heating, bolting, and welding .

• High School Diploma or GED


• Valid Driver's License


• 2-4 years experience and formal training in machining, welding or mechanic technology
