BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Assembly & test Technician for an opportunity in Torrance, CA !




Position Title: Assembly & test Technician(Aerospace preferred)




Location: Torrance, CA

Anticipated Start Date: 09/30/2024

Expected Duration: 1 year + contract



Job Type: [FULL TIME/ONSITE/CONTRACT

Pay Range: [$28] - [$31.28] PER HOUR ON W2


Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:

• Mechanical Assembling, hand tools


• Power tools


• Reading blueprints/schematics/actuators


• Experience in Aerospace preferred

Job Description:

• Performs various precision assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators and systems.


• Assembly activity utilizes a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers and precision micrometers to obtain proper build requirements.


• Test activity requires the use of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures and tools.


• Maintains dimensional accuracy on assemblies through the use of torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling and gauging.


• Works from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and oral.


• Diagnoses test failures and perform necessary rework in order that the unit will pass test requirements.


• Cleans components to required cleanliness levels.


• May be required to work on repair units normally run with production units.


• Positively contribute to the teamwork environment in terms of productivity, initiative, cooperation, data collection and attitude.


• On occasion, the Assembler/Technician may be required to travel to customer facilities and service Moog hardware
