RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Canonsburg, PA that is seeking a Salesforce Application Developer.

Summary:
The Salesforce Application Developer will collaborate daily within an Agile SCRUM development team to configure and develop Salesforce applications in support of marketing processes. You will also work closely with product owners to determine the best approach to business problems, deliver solutions swiftly, and enhance the customer experience. Ultimately, the Salesforce Application Developer plays a key role as an advocate for customer experience and product quality, helping to build customer-facing applications that meet today's digital expectations-fast, accurate, and reliable.

Essential Functions:

• Perform Apex programming in the Salesforce platform to support various business functions.


• Configure flows, Lightning Web Components, security settings, validation rules, page layouts, and other object customizations


• Integrate third-party APIs with Salesforce and Pardot


• Collaborate with architects to develop system designs and recommend technical solutions


• Support integration and data preparation with SQL experience


• Deliver new features and maintain existing features in the Salesforce platform


• Work within the CRM development team in an Agile SCRUM framework


• Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to the Agile SCRUM team(s) during retrospectives


• Collaborate with product owners to define, scope, and size approaches to business requirements


• Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to optimize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and test automation frameworks

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree


• 5+ years of development experience on Salesforce


• Experience in configuring Salesforce automation with Flow


• Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Developer, or Admin


• Extensive hands-on experience with the Salesforce security model


• Proficiency with Lightning Web and Aura components


• Experience in developing web services and enterprise application integrations with Salesforce


• Familiarity with code versioning and deployment tools such as VSCode, Salesforce CLI, Git, and Ant


• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment operating under the self-organizing principles of Agile


• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills


• Understanding of, and ability to implement, development and quality standards for software development


• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and recommendations effectively


• Experience in Salesforce development involving Apex classes, Apex triggers, and SOQL queries, with deep understanding and hands-on experience with Salesforce limits and test class coverage

Nice to Have Skills:

• Willingness to learn and apply new skills, processes, and technologies


• Experience with global environments and working across multiple teams and cultures


• Experience in building large-scale commercial applications in the high-tech industry

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
