Responsibilities:
Developing Architecture and implementing Data Management Strategies - Primary Responsibility:
Working with other departments to understand their data requirements and developing a data governance framework to ensure that data is properly managed and used
Developing and implementing data architecture, our blueprint for how data is organized and stored within our organization
Managing Data Quality and Accuracy - Primary Responsibility:
Data quality is a critical aspect of our data management, as it ensures that data is accurate, complete, and consistent; This includes:
Implementing processes and procedures to maintain data quality, such as data validation and quality control
Monitoring data sources and ensuring that data is properly entered, stored, and maintained to ensure its accuracy and reliability
Item Master Data
Ensure that the data is clean and driving improvement
Leading Data Analysis Efforts - Primary Responsibility:
Data analysis is a critical aspect of data management, as it allows our organization to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business goals:
This may include using data visualization tools and requesting custom such as dashboards and charts, to help identify trends and insights
Analyze Data and Make/Communicate Decisions based on the data
Overseeing Data Storage and Retrieval - Consultative and Informed Role - Not Primary Responsibility:
Working with the IT department to determine the best data storage solutions, such as databases, data warehouses, and cloud storage, to meet the organization's needs
Ensuring Data Security and Privacy - Consultative and Informed Role - Not Primary Responsibility:
Act as the steward of Data security and privacy, responsible for implementing data privacy policies and disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that data is protected
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree
10 years of experience managing 8-10 member Item Master Data team; Support provided for M&A integration; Product Lifecycle/Inventory Accuracy; Ecommerce; Light Manufacturing/Fabrication - nice to have; EDI/Trading Partners
5+ years working in Oracle ERP - Inventory, Procurement, Supply Chain, Order Management
Managing multi-business Oracle Item Master Data of significant scale and complexity
Experience with problem-solving techniques, root cause analysis, and team building
Ability to handle fast-paced, dynamic working environment
Background:
Managing Database of this scale and complexity: Multi-business Unit Data - eliminate siloes >>> bottlenecks
Ready to Support Growth of M&A
Highly Dynamic Environment
Ecommerce, Manufacturing, B2B
Tech:
Oracle ERP: EBS, Procurement/Supply Chain/Order Management/Inventory Modules - important

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
