Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking a Rust/Python Developer (Trading). In this role, the Developer will be enhancing applications to support pricing, order management, trading, simulations, and monitoring.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


• 3+ years of technology experience in the development and implementation of software solutions in highly scalable environments using Rust as a programming language with a preference within financial technologies


• Experience in high-volume, low latency real-time messaging applied to electronic trading (preferred)


• Comprehensive experience in software engineering in an agile environment


• Ability to help clarify user requirements and define accurate use cases


• Proven hands-on development skills with technology leadership


• Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
