Job Description

Essential Job Duties

• Organize products efficiently and accurately with moderate to minimal supervision, while validating quality and producing an output that is thorough and exact to aid production in executing delivery to customer.
• Implement and use inventory control methods for product/component accuracy on production floor via Kanbans and point of use. 
• Safely move materials throughout the facility in support of operations in a clean room environment.
• Aid in investigation of inventory issues for root cause and long-term correction implementation.
• Utilize inventory controls to track, retrieve, process and deliver to production areas with high urgency.
• Work closely with other areas of logistics and production to standardize processes of inventory control.
• Perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery
• Support all areas of the production area as required
• Perform data collection effectively by using Microsoft Office products and current data collection methods
• Maintain, control and monitor inventory and perform transactions utilizing our inventory control system with a high level of accuracy

Education and/or Experience -

High School Diploma or GED/ 0-2 years relevant experience

Certifications/License

Forklift Certification (Recommended not Required)

Leadership Responsibilities and Reporting Relationships

Receives general direction working from established policies and objectives, Employee plans and carries out assignments and resolves most conflicts that arise. Completed work is checked only to determine feasibility and compatibility with other work, or effectiveness in meeting objectives of the unit.

Physical Requirements

• Require constant (5-8 hours/day) lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.
• Requires frequent (2-5 hours/day) pushing up to 50 pounds, sustained visual concentration on small areas and repetitive hand motions on a daily basis
• Requires occasional (up to 2 hours/day) bending, crawling, crouching, climbing, sitting, kneeling, reaching on a daily basis
• Frequently sustained visual concentration on small areas (e.g. monitors, screens, spreadsheets, legal documents, etc.)

Qualifications

• Experience in Material Handling operations preferred.
• Experience and/or certification in operating material-handling equipment preferred.
• Ability to adhere to attendance, safety, quality, and performance guidelines.
• Experience with computer systems (MS Office, SAP, Agile, WMS) is preferred. Required Education and Training
• Minimum high school degree/ Secondary Education or equivalent.

Working Conditions

• Ability to lift material up to 50 lbs.
• Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting, climbing ladders) is required. Preferred Skills and Experience
• Must continuously exhibit and showcase CCEE (Character, Capacity, Energy, and Experience)
• Excellent verbal, written skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently as well jointly with in Team Function.

Additional Information

For New York, the expected salary range for this position is between $37,440 and $45,760 per year. In addition, INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law
