How you will make contributions that matter...

• Ability to assist and advise on machine operations as related to improving efficiency of the line.


• Assure the type and quality of cheese being used matches the customer specifications, food safety & quality standards, and efficiency standards through product inspections.


• Assist Line Lead with their daily responsibilities, including helping to coordinate production requirements for one production line.


• Assure all necessary and correct supplies are available on the line before running the product.


• Assure the correct cheese and amount is ready to cut before the next order is ready to run.


• Minimize cheese waste, rewraps, and trim.


• Neatly, accurately and legibly maintain all records and documentation.


• Maintain communication with team members on the line, and on opposite shifts, to assure overrun usage and filling the order correctly, consistently, and completely.


• Perform other duties as required by management.

You are best suited for the role if you...

• Able to perform and understand basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.


• Experience in the food production preferred.


• Possess leadership qualities and have a willingness to understand other areas of management.


• Good verbal and written communication skills with team members and all necessary departments.


• Able to read and understand production schedules and Product Specifications.


• Working knowledge of all necessary equipment.


• Able to use hand tools, including knives.


• Good decision making and problem-solving skills.


• Able to stand/walk ten hours each shift or as needed.

Hourly Rate: $22.76 with increases up to $23.26
