The role involves collecting, reviewing, and ensuring accurate and timely entry of production data into Oracle, with a focus on maintaining accurate inventory records and transactions. Responsibilities include auditing and investigating inventory discrepancies, coordinating plant inventory checks, and reconciling raw material discrepancies. The position also requires collaboration with warehouse personnel and management to resolve issues and providing administrative support as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collects, reviews, and ensures accurate and timely entry of production data into Oracle, including updates to inventory, BOM, and other Oracle documents.
Maintains accurate in-plant inventory by ensuring the accuracy of Oracle data, inventory records, and transactions.
Audits and Investigates discrepancies or inaccuracies in inventories, making corrections or escalating problems beyond assigned scope.
Coordinates and assists with regular plant inventory checks, including conducting warehouse inventory audits and reporting findings to management.
Reconciles and troubleshoots raw material discrepancies, working closely with the warehouse manager, master scheduler, and warehouse personnel.
Provide administrative support duties as required.
May perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
0-1 years of related experience and a high school diploma.
Knowledge of practices and procedures in area of assignment.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy in data entry, inventory management and documentation.
Effectively communicates with others.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet productions schedules and reporting deadlines
Proficient computer skills including successful use of Excel, Word, Power point, Oracle, and ERP
