AMLaw 100 law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their growing office in Century City. The ideal Litigation Paralegal candidate will possess 10+ years of civil litigation experience in a mid-size or large defense firm and proficiency with all aspects of the litigation lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Conducting research to support legal proceedings
Propounding and responding to discovery (interrogatories, requests for admissions, request for production, subpoenas, etc.)
Managing trial preparation including trial exhibits, charts, trial notebook, subpoenas and page lines
Assist in creating and maintaining case chronologies, indices and case files
Cite checking and proofreading pleadings and briefs
Coordinating document productions
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years of civil litigation defense experience as a paralegal
Solid understanding of civil litigation (state and federal rules and deadlines)
Experience in Commercial/Business Litigation, Entertainment, and/or Labor & Employment is a plus but not required
Someone who is deadline driven and detail oriented
Experience supporting a case during trial (either attending or working the war room) is a plus but not required
Experience with Relativity, Concordance or Summation preferred

Salary range: $100k - $135k annually depending on experience
