Job Description:

Victor is the global Managing General Agent (MGA) business within Marsh and is a leading provider of both specialty property and liability programs and 'main street' small commercial insurance products.


We are currently seeking candidates for the following position based in our New York City office.

  • Provide financial and decision support analysis to both business and FP&A stakeholders at Marsh.

  • Interact with diverse colleagues and stakeholders from various lines of business within Victor, Marsh and Marsh McLennan (MMC)

  • Partners with managers and peers to prepare budgets, allocations, forecasts, monthly variance reports and other expense analysis on Corporate FP&A Global Shared Services budgets.

  • Manages and delivers special projects such as standardization of iProcurement implementations, capital (capex) expenditure tracking and project spending analysis on a regional and/or global basis.

We will count on you to:



  • Analyze basic financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations.

  • Conduct simple analysis of financial planning information and reports, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

  • Conduct basic audit activities, in order to comply with requirements.

  • Maintain best practices policies, in order to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Assist in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.

  • Evaluate financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.

  • Assist in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives.




What you need to have:



  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

  • 3-5 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or decisions

  • Proficient in Financial Management tools as well as MS Office, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

The applicable base salary range for this role is $65,800 to $131,800.


The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
