Location: Williamsport, PA

Salary: $150,000.00 USD Annually - $200,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
NOT A REMOTE POSITION - Rapidly expanding 3PL company in the Williamsport, PA is seeking a National Sales Director to join and drive the growth of their sales department. This person is a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence. This role requires a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the 3PL industry, and the ability to leverage an existing book of business to generate new opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as a passion for building and maintaining strong customer relationships. This position requires 25-35% travel and to be based locally to their HQ in PA.

Responsibilities




  • Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed annual sales targets by actively managing and growing a substantial book of business.


  • Business Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within target markets.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients at all levels, including C-suite executives.


  • Sales Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on achieving sales goals.


  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with the company's overall business objectives.


  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.


  • Contract Negotiation: Successfully negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients.


  • Operational Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.


Qualifications



  • Proven track record in 3PL sales

  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a successful sales team.

  • Strong understanding of the 3PL industry, including transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management.

  • Extensive experience in developing and executing sales strategies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
