Position Summary


  • The mission of the Deployment Controller is to provide the financial analysis and partnership to shape the supply chain of the future to better serve our customers

  • You will work across cross functional teams to support long term industrial planning, ensuring proper deployment of capital and return on assets, and work to establish critical business continuity plans as part of the global initiative to build a more resilient supply chain

  • Specifically, you will support the Power Systems division, along with our Advanced Manufacturing teams (Parts & Process)

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Develop comprehensive and financially sound business cases for evaluation and approval - through partnership with project managers

  • Drive governance and control for project execution, supporting the delivery of financial expectations, highlighting gaps as they develop

  • Provide holistic view of complex strategic movements within their responsible Business Unit, animating the financial impacts of projects in scope for those Business units

  • Partner with a wide array of business partners, ranging from Plant Finance Business partners, project managers, accounting, and business unit Finance Business Partners, to deliver accurate project financial evaluations and clear communication of impacts

Qualifications

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field

  • Manufacturing finance experience / exposure

  • Project management / project controlling experience

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrate strong ability to work with and influence others not within direct reporting relationship

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

Preferences


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree

  • At least 7+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting role or related field

  • On-site manufacturing finance experience / exposure

  • Demonstrated people leadership

  • The ideal candidate will bring business case evaluation expertise, strong business partnering skillset, and financial acumen needed to challenge and promote accurate and successful business cases

  • Demonstrated understanding and application of metrics such as cost accounting, cash flows, margin, and related financial KPIs (NPV, IRR, CAGR, etc.)

  • Experience with data management and visualization tools, especially Tableau and SQL (VBA, etc.)
