Position Overview:
As an Automation Engineer at Pieper Automation, you will execute automation projects, ensuring they meet customer needs and requirements. This role involves project engineering, programming, and cultivating customer relationships to drive repeat business and growth. You will work independently or as part of a project team, travel as needed for system commissioning, and communicate effectively with customers and various levels of personnel.


Key Responsibilities:


Engineering and Programming:

• Execute projects based on customer specifications and needs.


• Involved in project estimating, design reviews, programming, installation and commissioning support.

Technical Expertise:

• Specify control systems hardware and software per customer requirements.


• Solve problems independently and suggest solutions to internal and external customers.


• Demonstrate commitment to building technical skills through continuous education.


• Provide guidance and mentorship of others.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Interface and communicate effectively with various stakeholders including engineers, project managers, electricians, vendors, customers, and company leadership.

Customer Relationships:

• Ensure customer satisfaction through successful project execution and effective communication.
