As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process of ground-up multifamily projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience leading the construction of at least 4-5 multifamily projects and a proven track record of managing teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects, from start to completion.
Ensure that projects are completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes.
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site labor.
Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to resolve any design or construction issues.
Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment management, and site layout.
Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date, including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders.
Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks and delays.
Uphold quality control standards, ensuring that work is completed to the highest standard of craftsmanship.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, specifically in multifamily ground-up construction.
Proven track record of successfully completing at least 4-5 multifamily projects.
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methodologies, and best practices for multifamily developments.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in construction management software and technology
OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
