NCI has an immediate opening for a Substation Project Manager in Brainerd, MN. Responsibilities include project management of new, upgraded, and expanded substations, including material procurement, managing labor force's, construction and commissioning/startup support through energization, client interface and estimating. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, planning, executing, monitoring, and reporting of substation projects and proposals to senior management. Project managers oversee the field staff on all day-to-day construction activities.
10+ years of demonstrated project management and leadership experience in the electrical field is required; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; commitment to quality and accuracy; and a willingness and ability to meet fast-paced project schedules. The successful applicant must have the ability to direct and oversee multiple technical disciplines in completion of substation projects. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving is required.
