Synergis' client, a leading services organization, has engaged us in a search for a key role in their organization. The Project Manager's role is to support the rollout, implementation and support of their ESS (Electronic Security Systems), Audio Visual Systems and more. The Project Manager will manage projects throughout the Georgia area, with main install base being in the Gainesville area. The selected candidate will be a motivated, self-starter, who can hold not only their team, but themselves accountable to delivering projects on time and under budget.
Project Manager | Background and Scope
Ensure proper site supervision and technicians are present to complete the project on schedule.
Creation and / or review of project quotes for existing clients.
Create project plans where applicable and ensure that deadlines are met
Work with the client and their team any changes to the project that may impact final project cost and/or project schedule.
Coordinate with multiple levels of management and a variety of teams:
IT engineering to ensure that the project has adequate Engineering resources to meet the project deadlines.
Security engineering (Access Points, Cameras, etc.) to ensure that the project is meeting all specifications, and he/she will review and approve any equipment changes from the bill of materials that the lead engineer may require to build the project.
Communicate project status with the teams and client on a regular basis, and/or as needed.
Responsible for tracking project costing throughout the project and escalating any cost issues to management, program management or the sales lead for the client.
Hands on management of the team, and willingness to dive in provide support to the team when needed
Required to adhere to OSHA standards.
Project Manager - ESS / AV | Requirements
2 to 5 years of Project Management experience
Recent experience in Project Management, preferably in technology related to:
Low voltage
Access control
Knowledge of a variety of security systems is a huge plus
Exemplary customer communication and service skills
Strong leadership skills
Ability to hold teams accountable to timelines
Ability to handle multiple priorities in an organized and efficient manner.
Strong:
Multitasking skills: Ability to handle multiple priorities across multiple projects in an organized and efficient manner.
Organizational skills: Deep attention to detail is a prime requirement for this position
Communication skills: Verbal, face-to-face and by phone, and written - for both internal and external interactions.
Ability to work independently
Strong technical aptitude to learn new technologies and physical security manufacturer's equipment.
Experience Creating budgets and estimating experience
Ability to multi-task in an energetic environment
Highly self-motivated and directed
Project Manager | Preferred:
Strong knowledge of Low voltage, security, AV, IT and construction integration practices and standards or related experience preferred.
Previous knowledge of Verkada, Latch, RS2 Technologies, LiftMaster and similar systems would be preferred, but not by no means required.
Project Manager | Other:
Demonstrate a legal ability to work within the United States via I9 verification. Ability to work for any US based company without sponsorship
Projects related to this role are of varying durations and locations. Travel between sites, will be required

The compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000
(dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
