Procurement Specialist at Axcellence Consulting in Marshall, Michigan

Job Description:

• Manage requisitions and purchase orders for materials, sub-assemblies, finished goods, and services.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; reduce reliance on single-source suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with commercial, legal, and contractual requirements.
• Handle RFPs and RFIs for business support.
• Work with the Quality Team to inspect deliveries and ensure orders meet specifications.
• Build relationships with key suppliers and assess their performance.
• Resolve supply issues through daily communication with suppliers.
• Address and resolve issues with defective materials or services.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Use SAP for purchasing, reporting, and analyzing procurement data.
• Maintain procurement requirements in the SRM system.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in SAP and supply chain management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work full-time with regular in-person attendance.
