Process Improvement Consultant - Warehouse Optimization
Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is facing challenges with their warehouse operations and is seeking a consultant to lead two work streams-one operational and the other financial-to drive performance improvements. The company is committed to optimizing warehouse processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
They are looking for a consultant with experience in warehouse or distribution center process improvement to help them streamline operations. While deep expertise isn't required, practical experience in similar projects will be essential. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on operational work and is passionate about making impactful changes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Operational Workstream: Analyze and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, optimize layout, and reduce bottlenecks.
Financial Workstream: Collaborate on cost reduction initiatives, track performance metrics, and ensure financial targets are aligned with operational improvements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement.
Provide actionable recommendations and implement solutions to optimize day-to-day operations.
Travel to Waco, TX, for on-site work 3-4 days a week to directly observe operations and lead initiatives.

Rate: US$125-US$150 per hour

Qualifications:
Experience with process improvement in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
