Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Analysis Engineer for a 6 months contract position in Grand Rapids MI 49512.
Pay Range: $50-$65 hourly on W2 with Akkodis, the pay range may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description:
Execute the analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to aerospace standards, practices, procedures and product/program requirements
Evaluate program technical requirements
Document technical data generated for the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated by yourself and other mechanical team members
Prepare data items for projects including thermal, vibration and other environmental reports. These reports will be the result of formal or informal analyses.
Conduct and participate in peer reviews requiring mechanical inputs
Vibration and thermal analysis
Thorough understanding of vibration and thermal analysis methodology
Analysis on circuit card assemblies
Performing thermal and vibration analysis and have a strong understanding of the process and procedures.
5+ years' experience in aerospace thermal and vibration analysis
Understanding of aerospace standards and military standards 810, DO 160
Reporting and presentation skills - to team and customers (PowerPoint)
Familiar with the Steinburg method
