OVERVIEW
The Christopher & Banks Retail Operations Lead is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational needs of existing C&B store locations and planning their resources accordingly. Partnering with internal and external vendors and suppliers, they will coordinate services, marketing and supplies as needed to support retail stores. They will maintain and update store processes as needed to ensure compliance with safety, OSHA and other regulations so that customer experience is maximized.
This individual will maintain an inventory of components needed to open future retail stores and play a vital role in supporting new store openings. They must be experienced in managing ongoing projects from start to completion and be detail oriented, with strong organizational skills and initiative.
They should have a continuous improvement mindset, be adept at managing multiple projects and priorities and look to drive efficiency and cost management where applicable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Owns store facilities and planning resources and fulfillment
Partners with Store Managers to resolve store level operational issues
Manages and coordinates store needs including supplies, fixturing, repairs, components and collateral needed for stores
Maintains and updates store policies and procedures including POS, safety, HR resources, etc..
Ensures compliance with applicable safety regulations
Cultivates and supports vendor and supplier partnerships
Partner with internal and external teams to coordinate all components, signage, supplies needed for new store openings
Drives efficiency and cost management with a continuous improvement mindset
Owns the annual physical inventory coordination & execution with retail stores
Maximizes customer experience and brand standard
Partner with VP, RM, marketing and store managers to coordinate marketing materials, signage and other assets for stores

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
2+ or more years of experience in retail environment
2+ years of retail operational experience preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Expert at managing multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable with a strong sense of urgency
Have a continuous improvement mindset
Self-starter who takes initiative
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and critical thinking
Accustomed to communicating with internal and external partners
Able to operate independently, work closely with suppliers and vendors and other cross functional teams
