Insight Global are looking for a Product Manager to join one of their largest gaming clients. This role directly reports into the IT Director of Product/Program Management for Finance, the chosen candidate will support the roadmap and lifecycle of Finance applications (as a collective "product"), and participate in establishing and executing an overall product strategy for their internal Finance function. You will be gathering and documenting product requirements and specifications, and working with around a dozen internal customers and understanding end user perspective pain points, then transforming this into soluble capabilities. It will be your responsibility to understand any risks associated with these solutions, and to communicate these and general progress back to your internal stakeholders. You will be collaborating with the solution architecture team and engineering teams to ensure cohesive product development.
Qualifications:
5+ years' working experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Manager
Experience supporting accounting or finance teams with product requirements
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or IT
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working in a large enterprise
An understanding of workflows and processes related to SaaS applications, including a basic understanding of data and integrations
Plusses:
Experience working with ERPs and/or other internal Finance applications, either as a Business Analyst or Product Manager
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience working with off-shore development and remote management
Experience creating product roadmaps and gathering business requirements (preferably in a Finance or cross-functional environment that included Finance partners)
A finance or accounting background and/or experience with functional users in those domains
An interest in the video and gaming industry and/or e-commerce in general
Demonstratable project management experience, preferably in the domain of Finance
