Support the Product Development Director in planning, coordinating, and managing fragrance product development projects.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, marketing, procurement, sourcing, sales, QC, and product design, to align project goals and timelines.
Collaborate with product designers to ensure that creative concepts align with market trends and brand strategies.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver on objectives while maintaining high standards of quality.
Oversee procurement and sourcing activities, coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and packaging components.
Monitor the import process, particularly for products sourced from China, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and timely customs clearance.
Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to drive project progress and resolve any issues that arise.
Track and report on project milestones, risks, and outcomes to ensure smooth transitions through each development phase.
Ensure all products meet regulatory and safety requirements, coordinating with relevant teams for compliance.
Conduct post-launch evaluations to identify improvement opportunities and optimize future project workflows.
Implement procedures for handling defective or damaged goods
Oversee end-to-end project management for new fragrance launches, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects.
Conduct regular project status updates and reports, ensuring clear communication with executive team and other team members.
Coordinate product testing, sampling, and quality control processes to ensure the final product meets market and customer expectations.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience, ideally within the fragrance, cosmetics, fashion, or consumer goods industry.
Strong understanding of product development processes, from concept design to manufacturing to sourcing and market launch.
Experience collaborating with manufacturing, marketing, procurement, sourcing, and sales teams.
Knowledge of importing processes and regulations, especially for products sourced from China or other countries.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
PMP certification or similar is a plus.
