As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil / Structural Project Manager to join our team in Green River WY. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in construction project management and ideally with a background in civil and / or structural engineering / components relating to industrial facilities.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Civil / Structural Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing civil and structural construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards for our client, a large soda ash mining / processing operation. This role requires some technical expertise in civil & structural (concrete and or steel) engineering / construction, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Lead civil & structural engineering projects in industrial facilities from initiation to closure, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  2. Design and development: Develop innovative civil & structural designs, concepts, and solutions to meet project requirements. Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and models.
  3. Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all civil and structural designs and products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections as necessary.
  5. Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, components, and equipment. Evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders. Communicate project status, progress, and issues effectively to management and team members.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within the civil and structural engineering functions. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
  8. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle. Promote a culture of safety within the project team and adhere to company policies and procedures.


Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager who has worked on Civil and or Structural Engineer components / infrastructure (concrete and / or steel) in a relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, construction, oil & gas and or mining).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, organizing, and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil and or structural engineering is a plus.
