Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document detailed cost and price analyses to ensure fair and reasonable pricing, leveraging a comprehensive purchasing process
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, serving as the key liaison between the supply chain management team and senior management
  • Identify, assess, and select suppliers and vendors based on their capabilities, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and product quality
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to foster effective and collaborative partnerships
  • Lead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, offering guidance and performance feedback to ensure optimal team performance

Job Requirements:
  • DOD Experience
  • Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or equivalent required (with CPSM/CPM, and/or MBA preferred)
  • Demonstrated performance in purchasing, commodity management and strategic sourcing
