This position will be focused on structural packaging defects, industry packaging standards, and packaging automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in package testing and industry standards.
What you'll do:
Work with Automation Engineering and Operations to determine valid packaging defects
Work with Suppliers to develop both long term and short term strategies to eliminate packaging defects
Develop packaging standards to better equip supplier packaging to perform through the Walmart Supply Chain
Present metrics on packaging improvements to leadership teams
Work with Merchants to influence new supplier packaging initiatives
What you'll bring
5-7 years packaging experience
Effective Communication Skills
Ability to quickly adapt to changing environment
Bachelors of Packaging, or related Engineering Degree
