The pay rate range for this position is between $55,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location, relevant skills, and years of experience.

Position Overview - Practice Leader

The Practice Leader is responsible for the growth and profit of one or more branch offices, managing a team of recruiters, account managers and market coordinators. The Practice Leader is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to meet revenue and profitability targets, maximizing order fulfillment, ensuring excellent customer service, and building and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates. The Practice Leader is responsible for driving growth within existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership and direction to a team of recruiters, account managers and market coordinators setting performance goals, and providing regular feedback to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Manages the branch's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring revenue, expenses, and profitability. Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and professional development.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with clients and candidates, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service. Resolve any client or candidate issues or complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities to expand business with existing clients by upselling and cross-selling additional services.
  • Proactively engages with clients to identify potential issues, address concerns, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, including recruitment, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth service delivery and timely resolution of client-related issues.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients.
  • Prepares and presents candidate profiles to hiring managers for review.
  • Stays up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.
  • Conducts safety inspections and walkthroughs regularly, reporting violations to the TalentLaunch Safety Consultant
  • May provide ongoing support to the candidate once placed, including addressing talent performance issues, payroll, workers compensation and unemployment.
  • Supports the Workers Compensation Claims process. Adheres to and follows all company Policies, organizational competencies, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years or more experience of proven account management success in a consultative and professional services environment.
  • Two (2) years or more of leadership experience, can be concurrent with #2.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to speak clearly in both positive and negative situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities, strong time management skills, and developing realistic action plans.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Proven success at working well in teams and independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in business or other related field
  • Previous experience selling in the staffing industry
  • Experience managing multiple offices in person or remote
  • Google Suite experience
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • The person in this position needs to move about both inside an office and at other locations where meetings may be conducted.
  • Frequently operates a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently communicates with others over the phone, video and in person; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
