Job title: Door and Millwork Plant Manager
Salary: Starting at $94,686 to $116,965 Depending on experience + Profit Sharing and Performance Bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am to 5pm
Location: Woodinville, Washington
The Door and Millwork Plant Manager is responsible for utilizing the company's FACE values, mission, and vision as guides in order to lead their employees and reach the location's goals. This is accomplished through servant leadership and managing of the team. This position is also responsible for implementing operational strategies and objectives to ensure the location's goals. As a manager, this position is expected to be involved in their community in some fashion, set time aside for self-improvement, and always strive to be a better leader.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership:
Manage day-to-day activities of employees from other departments assigned to your location
Supports and follows PARR's brand standards
Recognizes opportunities for improvement, and turns that quickly into decisive, confident, and proactive action

Coaches and delegates financial reporting, striving to build business acumen with team
People Development:
Identify and articulate performance expectations to employees
Create and maintain a well-rounded staff through cross-training, open communication, and continued education
Utilizes performance plans as a tool as needed, utilizes DM
Creates team driven environment, where the team is working towards a common goal
Understands strengths/weaknesses of everyone on team (utilize the first, work to improve the second)
Business:
Enforce all company policies
Achieve location's annual profit projections
Continually update product knowledge and selling techniques
Implement Continuous improvement and Lean Practices
Ensures all reporting is done timely
Ensure an appropriate level of inventory is maintained at the facility to handle volume, working with both sales and purchasing teams to forecast increases or decreases in volume
Trains and leads the inventory management team at the location and trains them in applicable tasks of Cycle Counting, Negative QTY research, adjustments, and SPC report management
Completes preventative maintenance for all equipment in accordance with Fleet Manager guidelines and notifies them of issues affecting fleet safety, performance, or Customer support
Understands the definition of a Resolved and an Unresolved Variance, and uses knowledge to improve results
Arranges community involvement for the location by becoming involved with organizations that focus on improving areas of the community
Safety:
Conduct/monitor accident investigations
Team members always wear high visibility/proper uniform
Works with Production Manager and department leads to review daily equipment inspection reports for all fleet equipment and machinery and ensures necessary maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely manner
Ensures location follows proper and timely reporting of all necessary accident and claim reports
Utilizes DashCam information as a tool to coach continuous improvement with the driver team
Communication:
Promptly respond to customer complaints and concerns
Sets expectations and goals, holds people accountable

Takes ownership of opportunities for team to improve and works to be a part of the solution
Entire team works cordially, professionally, diplomatically and with a high level of customer service

Qualifications
Knowledge of management principles, practices, and production methodologies
Knowledge of moldings and door purchasing principles, practices, and protocols
Knowledge of home and commercial construction principles, practices, and protocols
Knowledge of the effects of "market conditions" upon the wood products industry
3 years prior supervisory/management experience
Ability to identify a broad range of building product materials, their quality, allowable tolerances and application techniques
The Plant Manager works in an office with a computer, on the production floor, and walks the outdoor section of the location.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work indoors in a normal office environment for an entire day
Must be able to grasp, talk, hear, and operate a computer and keyboard
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds and carry objects 50 feet
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to drive a vehicle when necessary
Both local and overnight travel may be required
