Position Summary Responsible for supervising and providing direction to a team of inventory control specialists and ensuring the continuous accuracy of the inventory. The individual is responsible for the reconciliation process of the physical inventory and report inaccuracies to management. In addition, the individual manages the execution of the periodic cycle counting as it best fits ProCaps' model.
Minimum Job Qualifications And Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2 years inventory or warehouse/manufacturing experience
Self-motivated; works independently

Strong communication skills
Must possess knowledge of warehousing and inventory concepts
Must possess an understanding of the importance of accurate inventory counts and identification
Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast paced environment
Ability to assume responsibility and work autonomously or collaboratively in a professional and timely manner
Other Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Trains and manages a team of inventory specialists capable of meeting ProCaps' rapid changing environment
Builds a long-term, sustainable engaged team thru effective communication and an evolution of trust.
Takes ownership of inventory control initiatives, drives targeted actions to solve re-occurring inventory transactions inaccuracies.
Provides direction and drive accountability to the inventory specialists. Ensures team adherence to procedures
Evaluates resources and allocates workload for optimal result
Continuously researches, sizes and makes recommendations for improvements designed to meet ProCaps' growth
Engages other departments to solicit knowledge and improve outcome
Develops and implements improvements to existing models and procedures to maximize efficiencies
Develops, documents, implements, and maintains standard operating procedures for all aspects directly related to inventory control
Oversees all training in support of new or revised procedures
Oversees the overall data entry activities performed by the Inventory Control Specialists to maintain the accuracy of the inventory in our ERP system
Performs accurate and updated inventory transactions of materials and finished good products in accordance with material movements and inventory cycle count
Conducts daily inventory analysis and reconciliations to solve inventory discrepancies
Assures all related departments comply with current procedures necessary to support inventory control
Collaborates with Warehouse and Production, Planning and all other departments to ensure ProCaps goals are met
Coordinates periodic Cycle Counts, as it best fits the ProCaps' model
Prepare daily cycle counting schedule
Generates special reports, and track team progress as required
Reports to management on pertinent information, critical issues and business needs
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duties are performed in a smoke-free office and warehouse environment
