Purchasing Manager needed for an elite Electronics Company.

$100,000 - $115,000 target base salary range
One of the nation's most well respected electronics manufacturers is looking to a Purchasing Manager to lead a team of buyers and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
The Purchasing Manager will be tasked with leading purchasing/ procurement projects that have a critical impact on revenue and customer satisfaction. The candidate will report directly into VP of Supply Chain and will play a critical role in establishing elite processes and will be responsible for leading a high performing team. This role must sit in Fayetteville, AR.
The Purchasing Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Champion the procurement activities and ensure that suppliers aligned with stakeholders requirements for materials.
Lead a team of Buyers, ensuring that they perform all functions effectively.
Implement procedures that identify opportunities to obtain cost favorable pricing for required materials.
Create and execute inventory reduction initiatives
Lead procurement and purchasing efforts.
Review all PO claims and contracts ensuring compliance with company policy.
Support Supply Chain programs that ensure optimal inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
Bachelor's Degree (MBA or master's preferred)
5-7+ years in procurement and purchasing
Leadership experience required
electronics experience is preferred but not required.
